Want to study poetry but have kids who can't sit still? With play and movement integrated into each lesson, A Year of Playing with Poetry allows kids to connect and engage with poetry in a way that suits them.

Each lesson will include:

• A link to a nature-themed poem appropriate to the season
• An active way to read/perform the nature poem of the month
• A short introduction to a poetic term relevant to the poem
• A fun activity/game to dive deeper into the poem and/or poetic term
• A creative writing exercise to play with what you've learned
